Bangladesh’s first ever 3D projection mapping show was produced by Studio Z BD. The venue was Ministry of Sound. The brief was to create an experience nobody in the country had seen before.
That was the beginning.
Since then, Studio Z BD has produced over 100 projection mapping shows across Bangladesh — for telecoms, FMCG giants, consumer electronics brands, government institutions, pharmaceutical companies, banks, automotive brands, and international organisations. The portfolio spans nearly every major sector of Bangladesh’s corporate economy.
This isn’t the story of a tech company. It’s the story of a production studio that understood, early on, that the most powerful thing you can do at an event is create a moment people have no frame of reference for.
The Earliest Days
When Studio Z BD started producing projection mapping shows in Bangladesh, there was no roadmap. No local precedent. No production infrastructure to rely on. Every technique, every workflow, every process was built from the ground up — by a team that believed this technology deserved a permanent place in Bangladesh’s event landscape.
The first shows were difficult in ways that don’t show in the final output. Equipment had to be sourced, tested, and configured with no local service infrastructure to fall back on. Content pipelines had to be designed from scratch. Client briefs had to be translated into a format the market had never asked for before.
What made it work was a combination of technical precision and a deep understanding of what corporate events in Bangladesh actually need: something that makes the brand look like it belongs on a world stage.
The Shows That Defined Studio Z BD
Certain shows stand out in the portfolio — not because they were the most technically complex, but because of what they represented.
The Grameen Phone activation was one of the first times a major telecom in Bangladesh used projection mapping as a core event element rather than a supplementary one. It changed the way the BD event industry perceived what was possible.
The Samsung shows — for the QLED launch and the Galaxy S5 — were among the most precise content productions Studio Z BD had done at the time. Consumer electronics brands demand a level of finish that is unforgiving. Every frame, every transition, every color value had to be right. Samsung’s decision to use Studio Z BD for two consecutive major launches reflects the confidence that standard built.
The Teletalk rebranding shows are arguably the most meaningful for what they represent. Teletalk returned to Studio Z BD a second time for their rebrand. In an industry where brands are constantly evaluating options, a repeat client is the highest possible endorsement.
The National Parliament of Bangladesh project sits in a category of its own. The brief, the stakes, and the output all reflected a production that had to be completely right — and was.
The Nestlé Aloki immersive experience pushed Studio Z BD into experiential design territory that went beyond a standard event production — creating a multi-sensory environment that the brand used as a flagship consumer experience.
What the Portfolio Represents
The 100+ shows in Studio Z BD’s history aren’t a number for its own sake. They represent something more specific: Studio Z BD has produced shows for brands that had every option available to them, and chose this studio anyway.
Grameen Phone has global agency relationships. Samsung Bangladesh works with some of the most sophisticated creative vendors in the country. Nestlé operates to international production standards. The German Embassy Dhaka works with diplomatic-level precision. None of them needed to work with Studio Z BD. They chose to — and in most cases, came back.
Where Studio Z BD Stands Today
The studio runs on two 10,000-lumen large-venue projectors, MadMapper and Resolume Arena for mapping and content playback, and a full in-house production crew covering surface fabrication, visual content, sound, and LED lighting. The full pipeline — brief, design, fabrication, content, calibration, setup, operation, teardown — is handled internally.
The result is a studio with no dependency on external vendors for core delivery, and a quality consistency that comes from doing the same thing, to an increasingly high standard, for over a decade.
What This Means for Your Event
Studio Z BD is now offering its full projection mapping capability as a packaged production directly to brands, event managers, and corporate clients — the “Custom Projection Mapping on YOUR Logo” package. This means you work directly with the studio that has produced Bangladesh’s defining moments in this format, without the agency layer that inflates cost and dilutes the brief.
If your brand has an event coming up that deserves a moment — a launch, a rebrand reveal, a milestone celebration — this is the studio that has produced that moment more than 100 times.
