Studio Z BD is a multimedia production studio that works with digital art and brings it to the physical world using creative stage and lighting, visual and special effects such as projection, LED, and laser mapping, lighting design, light show and synchronized production, and AV tech support — creating branded stories, often for front page feature photos or news highlights.

Founded in 2018 and based in Banani, Dhaka, by Zunayed Sabbir Ahmed, who introduced 3D projection mapping and LED pixel mapping to Bangladesh in 2013. Clients include Unilever, Samsung, HSBC, Grameenphone, bKash, Nestlé, TATA, GSK, Robi and the German and Australian High Commissions.

Zunayed Sabbir Ahmed is the founder and Technical Director of Studio Z BD. He is the first certified trainer in South Asia endorsed by Resolume, MadMapper and HeavyM — the three principal platforms in live visual production — and a HeavyM Ambassador.

He pioneered VJing and projection mapping in Bangladesh from 2013 and authored the first Bengali-language book on projection mapping, published at Ekushey Book Fair 2025. He works as Technical Director on national-scale ceremonies and international touring productions, including the Nepali band Kandara’s world tour.
